It's done!  I did it!  My query letter is now little pixels floating through the air to a prospective agent, soon to land with a loud thump with all the information he requested.  What makes this book unique, 3 page synopsis, bio and 50 pages of the story.  "BAM!"  As Emeril Lagasse shouts!

You's be the second to know when I hear!!  Have a great Thursday y'all!

The other day I said I was sending out MCI to an agent...I fudged...I didn't make it.  I've been working on making a better QL with all the requested information, which also makes it longer than I am comfortable with sending.  The shorter the better, keep it simple ideas.

With that thought, what makes MCI better, it's funny? It pulls the reader in, forgetting reality?  Characters becoming their friends and caring about their lives? Have you ever put 490 pages into 6 sentences to impress someone who can make or break your creation?

It's time to buck up and finish.  No one else is reading this right now. It's like my life has come to a rest while waiting for THAT decision.

See you on FB!

Larry and I took a friend out for her birthday dinner the other night.  Towards the end of the meal, my characters began their dance in my head.  I looked around the restaurant, not really seeing everything, and not knowing why I did it.

When I faced the table, our friend asked me 'was I mad?'

I told her 'no',

she said my 'face looked mad',

Larry told her I 'was looking for my boyfriend',

I answered 'why you're right here!'

Everyone laughed.

It was totally strange, I felt invaded by my characters for that single moment.

So, now the question is: Have they taken me as well my actions over?

Have you, as writers, felt the same as I have described??

Have I gone crazy?

Am I talking into the void?

Will I be answered?

Another day with my head only thinking about writing...

Finished the 1-3 page requested synopsis for MCI, proofed and saved in 2 places!

Also finished what qualifies me to write this project.  I had been working on Triangilo, but have decided to set it aside and work Non Compus Mentis as a squeal to MCI, since I left the ending open and can incorporate most of the ideas I already have for this story and make it work!

Monday...sending MCI to another agent!

Chao!

Yes, it has been a while since I've visited. It's the old story about being busy.  I have finally finished editing and love where I am with Murder Comes Innocently.

Now working on a great query letter, bio done, plot synopsis longer than I already have, interesting enough "what are my qualifications for this writing project" by one possible agent or "what makes my book unique" for another. Just another avenue for the literary agent to get to know you.

During this time, I'm editing Mea Culpa, which has been beta read and ready for finishing touches.  Oh, and in between all this, my characters in Triangulo are talking to me and I cannot ignore their bringing their story together for me.

Later!
